PostSubject: Not sure I want to ttc   Tue Jul 05, 2011 12:44 am

I've just worked out that this cycle was 40 days long, af did finally appear and so the next cycle begins, now if I were activly ttc right now I would have been in a right stress about it all, probably symptom spotting all day, obsessing over cm and cervix position etc etc but because I'm not ttc right now I was fine! Didn't get obsessed just carried on without really giving it much thought.

Now we are thinking we want to ttc after our holiday, well during actually lol but I don't think I wanna be that obsessed nutter again! It's annoying because I know psyco kell will make an appearance and my life will literally evolve around ttc. I could say to myself oh were not trying just not preventing but that would be rubbish!

Arrr I'm not looking forward to the two week waits I guess I have to hope I only have to go through one!

Aww. I kind of know how you feel. I never went back on the pill after Imogen and when we decided to stop using condoms it was hard at first to not concentrate on symptoms/dates etc. But somehow after a couple of months i just really forgot we weren't using contraception. I never went into the conceiving section of forum or ever looked up my dates for fertile times. I think that helped me to just relax and not think about it

I just remember after a while sex was all about making babies and was so routine and the passion wasn't there for me anyway I don't think I ever told oh when I was fertile etc because I didn't want him to feel like me! I guess I just need to not take it so seriously this time and go with the flow! Here's hoping that happens lol I got a few weeks left anyway so shouldn't really be worries just yet lol

Thats exactly why i never looked up fertile time or concentrated on the dates as I didn't want to feel like i was just having sex to make a baby. For me I guess it helped that I wasn't actually sure when I wanted to have a baby. We couldn't make a decision on actively trying, altho we both knew we wanted another baby we didn't know when was the 'right' time so that meant I wasn't focusing too much and let nature do its thing
